Mike was born and raised in Manhattan Beach and resides in Hermosa Beach with his Wife Patty. They have two daughters Dalas and Dominique who also reside in the South Bay. Over the years, Mike and Patty have worked together with Architects and Builders to produce 5 beautiful family homes.
Mike has been buying and selling Real Estate in the South Bay since 1985. Mike caught the Real Estate bug when he saw his High School Basketball coaches Tom Egerer and Bill Paulsen go on to be successful Real Estate agents and developers.
Besides working in Real Estate, Mike was a Professional Beach Volleyball Player for 17 years, winning the Manhattan Open 5 times. Mike was also one of the founding members of the AVP (Association of Volleyball Professional) Board of Directors. He served on the AVP Board for 12 years from 1983-1995. Mike has also worked as a Volleyball Analyst since 1997. He worked on both the Sydney and Athens Olympics for NBC and continues to work today analyzing Women’s and Men’s Indoor and Women’s Beach Volleyball for The Pac12 Networks. Mike and Patty were also the proud owners of Fonz’s Restaurant from 1997-2005. They currently own MBSand… a beach volleyball Club dedicated to teaching young players not only the fundamentals but an appreciation of the history and culture of Beach Volleyball.
Mike is looking forward to working with Schneider Properties. Whether guiding the growth of a Professional Tour or representing his clients in Real Estate, Mike has always had a attitude of service and responsibility… to give the best of himself in all things.
